The Hydref- a Fall Festival & Market Faire
Saturday, October 7, 2023, 11am - 4pm
Rain or Shine - there will be plenty for everyone! See you there!
Traditionally the entire town and country side turned out for the annual Market Faire. You will meet skilled 18th c crafts people, re-enactors, and "sutlers", purveyors of 18th c goods. Enjoy live period music, great food and activities for the children.
The Deacon's Tavern will be serving the traditional lunch of soup & ham sandwiches. And you will be treated to live period music by local musicians throughout the day!
Be sure to visit with Talley Cavey residents at home, at work and enjoying the Fair. And yes, there are special activities to capture the interest of our younger visitors!
Hydref, which means "autumn", in Welsh, was named to commemorate the Welsh heritage of some of our early settlers. Come to shop, come to enjoy
the 18th century village in real life!
